Collection Count increases when adding foils

Hello

I'm a new user to UrzaGatherer and I'm loving it so far.

I do have a question regarding the addition of foils to my collection: when doing it, it also increases the number in the "Count" field of the card. This might be a misunderstanding on my part, so I just wanted to clarify: does the number in the "Count" field include the number of foils you have? or should they be separate values? The latter meaning, does the number in the "Count" field represent non-foils and the "Foils" represent foil cards?
