Hung up my cards a few years ago, but was using your Msoft app to track all my decks and cards. Just before I walked away from MTG for a short hiatus, I moved your app to an external harddrive. After I did this, it "broke". The orange splash screen pops up with the curser and then crashes. Now I am looking to fire it up again and wonder what you recommend to get it working again. I assume uninstall and reinstall? I had been doing regular backups in both of the available formats you were offering at the time, so I hope to be good on that front.
Keep us posted
Oh, I just remembered something else. I was using a cloud based extension of the app on my Android device. Would I be able to pull the latest data from the cloud saves or was that also a download save file?
Ok, so I went and looked for the save data files and now I am not as hopeful as I was earlier. The last save I have is a .UGS file in 2017 which is small(144kb) compared to previous .csv or .urza data files(2600KB) which I did in 2015. The place holder files which were created in the move to the HDD date 2019 which indicates that I moved them in 2019.
So, I tried to hedge my bets and moved the app back to my C; drive. Alas, it still did not boot up. With my new concerns that I may not have backed it up in 2019 before the move to external HDD, I am wondering if I could locate that last data files in the program files before I delete the app? -or am I out of luck? Ill await your answer before I delete the app and reinstall it.
Yes you should be fine and anyway if there is an issue simply send me your latest save and I will make it work
